# Building Trust Through Communication: Empowering Educational Leaders at Pontica

## We hosted a workshop supporting school leaders in developing emotional intelligence and effective communication

On April 23rd, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of school principals from ICT Cluster Varna to our Varna office for a specialized workshop titled “Communication That Builds Trust”*. *This initiative is part of our ongoing partnership with the** **[**ICT Cluster**](https://ictclustervarna.com/) and reflects our belief in creating bridges between the business and education sectors.

The workshop was led by [**Yoanna Dimova**](https://www.linkedin.com/in/yoanna-dimova/)**, our Head of Talent**, and [**Nikolay Zheynov**](https://www.linkedin.com/in/nikolayzheynov/), Co-founder of Eduboom and [**Ucha.se**](https://ucha.se/). Together, they guided participants through an interactive session focused on emotional intelligence and the power of authentic communication in leadership roles.

The discussion explored how **empathy, active listening, and self-awareness** are key elements in **building trust**, especially in the complex environment of today’s educational institutions. Participants also tackled real-life challenges from their schools, sharing experiences and learning from one another in a space designed for openness and connection.

Hosting this event aligns with our long-term vision to **support leadership development**, not only within the business world but across the wider community. Strong leadership starts with understanding people, and we’re proud to contribute to initiatives that encourage this kind of growth where it matters most.
