Dilyan Stoev, DevOps Engineer
I was born in the late 1989 in Sofia and on my „прощъпулник“ I grabbed the electronic circuit board, so my destiny was clear – I had to become an engineer (later I was also influenced by my grandfather who was also an engineer). Pursuing this “path” in high school and university, my studying was of course related to the engineering sciences. However, I’ve not always worked on a technical position, but for the past 5 years I’m and this makes me really happy because I love what I do. I’ve worked as VoIP engineer at Unify (Siemens Communications) and my passion fot Linux led me to the position – Linux System Administrator in a small Bulgarian company with enormous achievement in the airline business. I’ve decided to join Pontica because of the DevOps opportunity, the company’s culture and because of Adrian Dimitrov (he referred me).
The daily challenges are what motivates me the most, I always strive to be better than the previous day. As DevOps/IT you always need to be up-to-date with all new technologies which is great because you are learning new and cool stuff – you are part of the future.
Dilyan after work
I’m a father of a one-year old boy, so my free time is entirely devoted to Misho – there is nothing cooler than showing you kid the world and seeing how he learns new things. I’m also a movie maniac and a music lover – I like every music style and movie genre. 😊
