My motivation – getting out of your comfort zone, walking the extra mile for somebody, to walk in his shoes and to envision his dreams.
Vyara Gigova, Recruitment Associate with French
My professional career in the BPO started when I was at the age of 18 in one of the largest outsourcing companies in the country. It’s amazing how in Bulgaria, a young and freshly graduated student can come across an amazing professional opportunity … and all this thanks to the sole fact that she speaks foreign languages. I used to work at the same company for almost three years, but after I came back home from an Erasmus educational program in France, I decided to pledge myself to a social cause that I started on my own. After this ‘break’ from the corporate environment I taught modern ballet to little girls. And so, a year later I met a friend of mine ‘by accident’ and she told me she worked for Pontica Solutions. I shared my interest in new professional opportunities and soon after she referred me with the internal program of Pontica: ‘Refer a friend’. And this is how my adventure here started. It keeps me getting more vibrant and interesting with each passing day.
Here I learn something new every day, something that is beneficial not only in my work as a Recruitment Associate but also in life. Constant communication with people who are so different, living in various locations across the globe, surely is enriching but also challenging. This is exactly my motivation – getting out of your comfort zone, walking the extra mile for somebody, to walk in his shoes and to envision his dreams. I am motivated by my personal growth, by the smiles on the faces of people, who have found their place in the big family of Pontica.
Vyara after work
After work Vyara is with friends and family.
I love art: during the weekend I often get the urge to craft something with my own hands (jewellery). I absolutely adore working with kids! Most of all I love dancing, writing and traveling. For three years, I’ve been in charge of my own social cause in support of youths with disabilities, with poor financial condition and of youths who have lost their parents. I am thrilled that this year Pontica will be supporting me in my endeavor to give a grain of hope and to assist these young talented people in their education and to motivate them.
After work Vyara is… filled with hope.
