La vie est belle!
Yoana Grigorova, Training Coordinator
Here are some fun facts about how I got to be here in the first place, that you might find interesting. Ten years ago, after getting my art diploma in France and coming back home, I started an internship in a small French interior design company. Working there for two years, allowed me to participate in the decoration of Hall 3 of the National Palace of Culture for a well-known event – Le nouveau Beaujolais, in cooperation with the French-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In addition to that, we worked on some of the largest Hollywood productions that were shot in Bulgaria, such as – The Expendables 2 and 300. The environment and the spirit of that artistic job were amazing, however, there were gaps in the events we were hired for and so in the quiet months, I would give French lessons. Then after moving to the corporate world, working for projects such as SAP and IHS Markit, becoming a mother, and spending several years at that company, I felt like I needed a change. This is where Pontica came into play. There are many factors that brought me here, but mainly it was the communication and professionalism of the recruitment team and the company spirit.
Pontica is a very cozy and pleasant place to be and despite the short time I have spent here, I can definitely say that I have already learned a lot and there is plenty more to come which is great. There are daily challenges that I have to deal with and manage which spurs motivation in me and gives me an extra drive to keep on getting better.
Yoana after work
After work, another motivation in my life takes over, my child of course, what else? I love kids, one of my passions outside work is to photograph children and families. I love to combine this hobby of mine with trips in nature, or anywhere outside of the busy and bustling city.
