We are currently looking for a L3 Cloud Application Support & Operations Engineer to join one of our international projects and play a key role in supporting and maintaining business-critical SaaS applications in cloud environments.
About the Role
As a L3 Cloud Application Support & Operations Engineer, you will take ownership of complex technical issues and contribute to the reliability, stability, and performance of production environments.
This role goes beyond traditional application support and combines cloud operations, incident management, database troubleshooting, release support, and DevOps practices. You will work closely with Development, Infrastructure, Database, and DevOps teams to drive issues through to resolution and continuously improve platform reliability.
What you will do in this role:
- Own the end-to-end support of SaaS applications, ensuring platform availability, performance, and SLA compliance.
- Investigate and resolve complex incidents across application, cloud, infrastructure, container, and database layers while driving tickets through to resolution.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), implement preventive measures, and contribute to continuous service improvements.
- Manage incident, problem, and change management activities in collaboration with cross-functional technical teams.
- Plan, coordinate, and support application, database, and infrastructure releases, including deployment validation and rollback readiness.
- Support CI/CD deployment processes, monitor system performance and logs, and proactively identify operational improvements.
What we are looking for:
Must-Have Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Level 3 Application Support, Production Support, Cloud Operations, or a similar technical support role, with the ability to take ownership of complex incidents and drive them through to resolution.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, including experience performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) in production environments.
- Hands-on experience supporting cloud-hosted applications using Microsoft Azure and/or AWS, with a solid understanding of cloud operations and service reliability.
- Experience working with modern application platforms and deployment technologies, including Kubernetes, Docker, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release management processes.
- Good knowledge of Linux (AlmaLinux/CentOS) and Windows environments, along with scripting and automation experience, preferably using PowerShell.
- Strong database troubleshooting experience, including hands-on work with SQL Server.
- Experience managing incidents, problems, changes, and releases while collaborating effectively with cross-functional technical teams and stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk and Azure Log Analytics.
- Knowledge of Python and/or .NET.
- Experience with MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
- Previous experience supporting enterprise-scale SaaS platforms.
- Relevant Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, or DevOps certifications.
