I joined Pontica almost 8 months ago and I’m extremely happy to have the chance to be part of the company’s development and growth in the past couple of months. It was definitely an unexpected opportunity but I have the feeling that I’m in the right place and I’m feeling proud of my choice.
A year ago, I came back to Bulgaria after losing my job in Dubai as Cabin Crew in the biggest airline in the world due to the pandemic situation. It was a great experience and I’m so grateful for having the opportunity to meet so many people from all around the world during the time I was in the UAE. I would say that this experience completely changed my mindset and my aspirations for my future. I came back home inspired to apply all the things I have learned over the past years and to grow in my new career path.
I graduated from the National Academy of Music in Sofia in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Pop & Jazz Vocal Performance and in 2017 with a Master’s degree in Music & Event Management. In 2021 I did my second Master’s degree in Human Resources Management at the New Bulgarian University.
I’ve always enjoyed meeting and working with new people and based on my previous experience in the HR field it was the most logical decision for me to open this new chapter and start studying something different than music. I’ve always said that every single cell in my body is music, however the unknown always attracts me and makes me want to climb new heights.
The thing that motivates me the most is the opportunity to improve myself every single day by meeting new people, discovering new places and experiencing new things. I think that’s what makes life exciting and that’s the way to develop yourself as an individual.
I use every chance to travel and I would definitely say that this is my passion because of the opportunity to discover new cultures and countries. I love writing as well. I have a travel blog website https://balkannomad.com where I share my travel experiences and a lot of ideas for new places to be discovered everywhere I’ve been to. My dream is one day to write a book about the most interesting stories I’ve had while traveling around the world.
