We received a class A certificate for our investment project in Burgas.

At Pontica Solutions, we always strive to do better, and are gratified when our dedicated work and contributions are recognized. This time, during the ceremony of InvestBulgaria Agency (IBA), we were thrilled to be honored with a class A certificate for our investment project on Diversification of Pontica Solutions JSCo activities.

Class A certificate is issued by the Minister of Economy as a tool to promote priority investment projects. During the official ceremony the certificate was received by Pontica’s co-founder and CEO Evgeni Borisov from Hristo Etropolski, Deputy Executive Director of IBA. With the project, Pontica aims to continue developing its operations in Burgas and the region and plans to double the available job positions.

In May 2022, Pontica opened its fourth office in Bulgaria, this time in Burgas, which resulted in a highly successful strategic development for our business. In the following 7 months we successfully built a team of 50+ experts currently working for some of our main partners and global industry leaders in HighTech and Logistics.

Meanwhile, the current investment will allow Pontica to continue its growth and expansion well into 2023 while also generating new career opportunities for the large pool of talents and professionals in the sea city. Up until now, we have invested 11 000+ hours in training and skills development for our colleagues and will carry on with our learning and development program for our new joiners this year.

At length, our present-day project is created and developed in line with Pontica’s #WeSupportTheYoung key CSR vertical. With these initiatives, we give back to the community by empowering young people, improving the economic landscape through impact hiring, and fostering a healthy and thriving work environment. The strong partnership with the municipality of Burgas allows Pontica to realize its business goals while retaining young people in the city.
