For a second consecutive year, on July 13-14 at the North Beach of Burgas we organized our Charity Volleyball Tounament. This year’s event, which was in collaboration with Burgas Beach Arena, Beach Volley Burgas, and the Municipality of Burgas, gathered a diverse and enthusiastic crowd committed to both sports and community support.
A vibrant showcase of talent and spirit
The Burgas Beach Arena was transformed into a lively hub of activity as 20 teams gathered to compete in this exciting two-day event. Volleyball enthusiasts from local schools, universities, and various volleyball clubs participated, showcasing impressive athleticism and sportsmanship. Each match embodied the spirit of friendly competition and camaraderie, highlighting the talent and dedication of the players and reinforcing the strong sense of community and shared purpose that defines the event. The finals were a thrilling conclusion, featuring a competitive match between El Clasico and Burgas Power. After a hard-fought battle, Burgas Power emerged victorious, securing the championship title.
Supporting a worthy cause
Beyond the thrilling matches and festive atmosphere, the tournament's core mission was to support a meaningful cause. All proceeds from the event were dedicated to the Coding Kids Burgas program, an educational initiative in partnership with the Municipality of Burgas. This program is dedicated to providing free education in digital technologies and programming to children in Burgas.
The support garnered from this tournament will significantly contribute to expanding the reach and impact of the Coding Kids Burgas program, ensuring that more young learners have access to valuable educational resources. Pontica is proud to be part of this initiative, which aligns with our commitment to empowering the next generation with the tools they need to succeed in an increasingly digital world.
