Together we cleaned the alley and placed signposts along the route.

In line with our CSR vertical #WeSupportThePlanet, our team gathered over the weekend to renovate the Alley for the Blind at the Vitosha National Park’s Arboretum. The Arboretum is a botanical garden of 1400 decares where more than 145 species of the Bulgarian flora can be found.

Together with the help of more than 30 of our teammates, we cleaned the 400-metre-long alley from bushes and pruned the trees to make the site more accessible for visitors. We also varnished the lower wooden fence that surrounds the alley from both sides (800m in total) which is designed to navigate blind people while walking. Additionally, concrete bases were built for the signposts we put along the trail that connects two key locations – the Arboretum and Iglikina Polyana.

We are proud to share that by the end of November we will renovate the whole trail and a total of 20  signposts are expected to be placed.
