At Pontica, as part of our #wesupporttheYOUNG vertical, our core mission is to empower young, ambitious, and talented individuals to develop themselves and grow a successful and fulfilling career. We partner with various schools, universities, and organizations and actively provide mentorship, lectures, and share our knowledge and experience to help young people learn and develop their professional skills.
Therefore, it comes as no surprise that in July we were thrilled to participate for another consecutive year in the ABLE Weekend Activator event – one of the most famous entrepreneurship programs in Bulgaria. During the two-day event which took place in the vibrant sea city of Burgas, young and aspiring entrepreneurs had the opportunity to bring their inspiring ideas forward and share them with accomplished experts in diverse industries and fields. Our CAO Kameliya Atanasova took part in the judge panel who lent their expertise, knowledge, and encouragement to the participants.
During the event, five teams pitched their business proposals for innovative startups based on extensive market research and competitor analysis. The ideas were as fresh, and diverse as the youngsters who presented them, focusing on FinTech, sustainability, healthcare, and mental health.
Our partnership with ABLE is strong and extensive – last year we once again participated the initiative, this time in Varna where our CEO and Co-Founder Ivan Georgiev and CAO Kameliya Atanasova were invited as expert judges. Furthermore, we supported the ABLE Mentor program with providing individual mentorship, with four of our Pontica colleagues taking part in the program.
Meanwhile, we believe that fostering innovation and nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs consistently can make a huge and long-lasting positive impact in our economic ecosystem. In the future, we are excited to continue our partnership with ABLE by supporting more Activator initiatives that drive growth in the business world.
