Pontica Solutions took part in the Sofia Marathon in support of ABLE Mentor

Together we donated to the first online mentoring platform in Bulgaria.

As part of Pontica’s CSR campaign for 2021 #WeSupportTheYoung, our team took part in the Marathon in Sofia on October 10. The campaign aims to support young people’s professional success and development through a series of charity, volunteering and sport events in Sofia and Varna. The first cause we backed this year was the ’Social Teahouse’ in Varna which helps teenagers coming from foster homes with their personal growth and career experience.

By running at the Sofia Marathon, we supported our second cause for the year – the ABLE Mentor program. The Association of Bulgarian Leaders and Entrepreneurs (ABLE) has been helping high school students with mentorship toward their future career plans for the past six years and now needs funding for the first ever online mentoring program in Bulgaria. For each kilometer our teammates ran together with Kremena Dervenkova, ABLE's Executive Director, and other representatives of the organization. More than 40 people from our team took part in the 10 km and 21 km distance run. As part of the upcoming spring edition, we will also support ABLE Mentor by taking part as mentors to some of the students.
