Potica Solutions organized a Charity Volleyball Tournament in Burgas

We gathered for a day of play, fun and support for our Beach Volleyball Tournament with a cause.

We are thrilled to share the success of Pontica’s Charity Volleyball Tournament which took place on June 24 in the sea city of Burgas! With the support of the Burgas municipality and as part of the Remotion Fest Burgas came to life a sensational event that brought together beach lovers, volleyball enthusiasts, and philanthropists for a day of fun, sportsmanship, and giving back to the community. Here is a brief recap of the memorable day.

A day of competition and compassion

On the sunny Saturday morning of June 24, the shores of Central Beach Burgas transformed into a buzzing hub of energy as excited participants from across the region gathered for the tournament. The teams were diverse and part of them included students from the Burgas Free University, youngsters from the Vocational school for computer programming and innovation and School of mathematics and natural sciences Acad. Nikola Obreshkov , as well as our engaged Pontica colleagues who are always up for playing a good sports game #together.

Georgi Delchev was the first referee at the tournament and his professionalism and sportsmanship contributed to the fair play throughout the tournament. The 10 teams competed in friendly matches and showcased the perfect blend of athleticism, spirited competition, and a shared commitment to making a difference. Our big winners were team Fortnite who seized the golden cup with their Olympic-worthy passion and performance while the silver and bronze trophies deservedly went to the teams Plam and GAS respectively.

Making impact

Beyond the thrilling games and electric atmosphere, we successfully achieved our key goal of making a positive impact on the community. In line with our #wesupporttheYOUNG vertical, the event served as a powerful platform to raise funds for the purchase of a cutting-edge biofeedback technology for the students from Burgas Free University. Meanwhile, the idea for the cause came to life thanks to the valuable insights and support of the university’s Dean, Mihail Prodanov.

The primary goal of biofeedback technology is to enhance self-awareness and empower individuals to consciously control their bodily functions. By providing immediate feedback on physiological processes, it helps individuals understand their body’s responses to various stimuli and teaches them how to modify these responses to achieve desired outcomes such as self-regulation, stress reduction, physical rehabilitation, performance enhancement, and more.

With this initiative, we at Pontica aim to empower the young to receive the modern educational tools that they deserve to advance and truly excel in their future careers. Thanks to all participants who contributed to this good cause, we will be able to bring a significant positive impact on young people’s professional and personal lives.
