The first quarter of 2025 brought fresh opportunities to connect, learn, and grow – both within our teams and across the wider community. From supporting youth education and taking part in cultural initiatives to contributing to conversations about technology and customer experience, we continued to strengthen our impact where it matters most. Here’s a look at what defined the start of the year at Pontica.
As part of our commitment to youth development, we supported two Bulgarian schools this spring by providing computer equipment and mentorship.
In Sofia, we donated new computers to 153 Sports School “Neofit Rilski”, giving students improved access to digital tools and resources.
In Varna, we equipped High School “Dimcho Debelyanov” with technology for their “Digital World” competition – an event encouraging students to apply technical knowledge and think creatively. Several colleagues also joined as mentors, helping participants shape their business ideas and gain practical insights.

We took part in the annual career forum hosted by the University of Economics – Varna, where we had the chance to meet students and young professionals exploring their future career paths. Our Talent team enjoyed sharing insights about Pontica, discussing career opportunities, and connecting with future professionals.
We continued our long-standing support of Alliance Française Varna by joining their annual Francophonie Day celebration. The event brought together students, teachers, and cultural enthusiasts to explore language, expression, and creativity. As always, we’re proud to stand behind initiatives that inspire young people and promote intercultural exchange.

Our CEO, Evgeni Borisov, took part in the “AI for Everyone: Creating a Better Future?” event, organised by the French Institute of Bulgaria and the French-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFB) in January. The discussion brought together experts, business leaders, and policymakers to explore the role of artificial intelligence in shaping our societies. During his talk, Evgeni shared insights on the future of work and innovation, focusing on the balance between rapid technological progress and ethical responsibility.

In March, our CEOs travelled to Berlin for CCW 2025, one of Europe’s leading conferences for customer service and communication. The event brought together experts, innovators, and decision-makers to explore the future of customer experience. Pontica’s presence reaffirmed our commitment to innovation, digital transformation, and building meaningful partnerships across the CX landscape.

We kicked off February with a heartwarming Valentine’s Day celebration across our offices. With sweet surprises, cheerful vibes, and lots of smiles, we made the day feel a little more special.

March began with a cherished tradition – Baba Marta. We celebrated with handcrafted martenitsas, exchanged wishes for health and happiness, and proudly kept cultural heritage alive in our workplace, one red-and-white thread at a time.

On March 8, we celebrated the achievements and strength of women in all walks of life. From recognising our amazing colleagues to embracing the values of equity and opportunity, it was a day of pride, gratitude, and empowerment.

By wearing mismatched, colourful socks, we stood together to raise awareness for World Down Syndrome Day. It was a small gesture with a big message – one of inclusion, diversity, and celebrating the uniqueness of every individual.
