We are proud to have been named finalists in the 2024 European Customer Experience Awards, where our dedication to excellence in customer service was recognized in two categories: Best Innovation in Customer Experience and Customer Experience Team of the Year. These nominations highlight our commitment to continually enhancing the quality of our services and setting new benchmarks in customer experience through innovation and teamwork.
In Q3, Pontica was featured in BGlobal's 'People of Change' edition, a publication that shines a spotlight on companies and leaders driving significant change. Our CEOs, Evgeni Borisov and Ivan Georgiev, shared their insights on Pontica’s journey and discussed the evolving trends in outsourcing, with an emphasis on the people behind our innovations. This feature is also connected to our achievement of being recognized in the FT Statista ranking for the second year in a row, reflecting our ongoing pursuit of excellence.
For the second consecutive year, Pontica hosted the Charity Beach Volleyball Tournament on July 13-14 at the North Beach in Burgas. The event, organized in collaboration with the Burgas Beach Arena, Beach Volley Burgas, and the Municipality of Burgas, gathered 20 teams composed of people from local schools, universities, volleyball clubs or simply volleyball enthusiasts. The tournament was more than just a competition; it was a vibrant display of community spirit and sportsmanship, as players showcased their athletic skills while enjoying the lively atmosphere.
The highlight of the tournament was the intense final match between El Clasico and Burgas Power, with Burgas Power emerging victorious. However, the event's purpose extended beyond the courts— all proceeds were dedicated to the Coding Kids Burgas program. This educational initiative provides free training in digital technologies and programming to children. The funds raised will help expand the program's reach, enabling more young learners to gain valuable skills in technology.
Pontica supported the ABLE Weekend Activator, held from July 26-28 in Varna, where 33 participants across seven teams took part in a challenging 48-hour competition to develop their entrepreneurial ideas. Our CAO, Kameliya Atanasova, served on the judging panel, providing participants with valuable feedback and insights drawn from her extensive experience. The winning team, Food Compass, was recognized for the Best Developed Idea, showcasing an impressive display of creativity and business acumen. Events like this empower young entrepreneurs by providing essential resources and mentorship, helping them bring their innovative concepts to life.
On September 18, Pontica took part in Tuk-Tam Kosher 2024 at the Inter Expo Center in Sofia. This talent focused event allowed us to connect with potential talent, with our representatives Tsvetelina Ivanova and Ana Hristova engaging attendees in discussions about career opportunities at Pontica. The event served as an excellent platform to introduce young professionals to our company’s dynamic culture and the exciting roles we offer. By participating in events like Tuk-Tam Kosher, we continue to strengthen our efforts and expand our network of promising talent.
To bring some summer vibes into the office, we celebrated Watermelon Wednesday, a refreshing internal initiative aimed at boosting morale and promoting well-being. Colleagues across different locations enjoyed fresh, juicy watermelon slices, adding a burst of fun and flavour to the workday. It’s these small, joyful moments that strengthen our team spirit and make Pontica a vibrant place to work.
In July, we took a sweet break from work with our Ice Cream Day! Colleagues enjoyed a variety of delicious flavours, bringing smiles and summer vibes to the workplace. This cool treat was the perfect way to beat the heat and foster some fun, casual bonding among team members.
