Engaging at Top European Events

In November, we made an impact at some of the most significant industry events of the year. At the Call & Contact Center Expo in London, we engaged with global experts to explore the latest trends in customer support and innovation. Meanwhile, at Slush 2024 in Helsinki, one of the world’s leading startup and innovation events, Pontica connected with global innovators and explored new partnerships.

Fostering Growth Locally

Pontica remained active in the local business landscape, participating in StartUp Bulgaria 2024, where our CEO, Ivan Georgiev, delivered a keynote speech on “Scaling Up Fears: Lessons Learned for Growing a Scale-Up Business.” The session offered actionable strategies for overcoming challenges in business growth and concluded with an engaging Q&A session, allowing the audience to explore deeper insights. This participation underscored Pontica's commitment to fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem and supporting innovative startups in Bulgaria. Additionally, at the SEE ITS Summit, Pontica collaborated with regional leaders to discuss best practices in outsourcing and the role of technology in delivering scalable solutions.

Advancing AI in CX

October began with a feature in Relation Client Mag, where our CEO, Ivan Georgiev, shared expert insights into the role of AI in reshaping customer experience outsourcing. This article set the tone for a month dedicated to innovation, culminating in the CX Dinner in Paris. There, industry leaders came together to discuss how technology continues to elevate the CX landscape. Pontica’s contribution highlighted the importance of combining technological advancements with human expertise to create exceptional customer experiences.

Strengthening Key Partnerships

In Q4, Pontica reinforced its commitment to ethical business practices and industry collaboration by becoming a member of the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum (BBLF), joining over 120 like-minded companies dedicated to sustainable business growth and corporate responsibility. This membership underscores our commitment to ethical business practices, social responsibility, and community engagement. Additionally, we strengthened our presence in the fintech sector as part of Bulgarian Fintech Association, aligning with one of the fastest-growing industries . By becoming part of this dynamic community, Pontica contributes to the development of the fintech ecosystem, fostering innovation and collaboration.

Supporting Communities and Sustainability

Recycling for a Cause: Caps Collection Campaigns

October saw our participation in two impactful caps collection campaigns in Varna and Sofia, supporting recycling initiatives that fund critical medical equipment for newborns. In Varna, we collaborated with the initiative “Аз Вярвам и Помагам” (I Believe and I Help), helping transform plastic caps into life-saving medical equipment for hospitals. In Sofia, our efforts supported “Капачки за Бъдеще” (Caps for the Future), which funds incubators and ambulances for remote regions. These campaigns embody our #wesupportthePLANET commitment to sustainability and community well-being.

Raising Awareness: Pink October & Men’s Health

Pontica proudly supported Pink October, raising awareness about breast cancer prevention and the importance of regular health check-ups. In November, we joined the AIBEST Beard It Forward campaign, raising awareness of men’s health issues and promoting solidarity across the business services sector. These initiatives showcased our commitment to social causes and the well-being of our community.

Empowering Education: Varna Workshop

December was a time to support education with a hands-on workshop in Varna, where we collaborated with school principals to deliver practical tools for effective time management. This initiative, in partnership with Ucha.se and as part of the ICT Cluster Varna working group, reflects Pontica’s ongoing investment in empowering young leaders and fostering the next generation of talent.

Pontica continued its efforts in career development and education by participating in the Career Show Varna, fostering relationships with young professionals and presenting the exciting opportunities within our company. Additionally, we proudly supported the European Day of Languages in Varna, organized by Alliance Française de Varna.
