Supporting the next generation: A year of impact through #wesupporttheYOUNG

At Pontica, we believe meaningful change starts with consistent action. Supporting young people is one of our core CSR pillars, and throughout 2025, we turned this commitment into impact through 10+ initiatives focused on education, digital access, sports, creativity, and social development.

Guided by our #wesupporttheYOUNG mission, our goal has been simple: to empower young people with the tools, opportunities, and encouragement they need to grow, learn, and thrive.

Investing in Education and Digital Access

Education and technology remain at the heart of many of our initiatives. This year, we supported multiple schools across Bulgaria by donating computers and equipment to improve access to digital learning and modern educational resources.

In Sofia, we partnered with 153 Sports School “Neofit Rilski”, providing computers to enhance students’ learning experience and support the development of essential digital skills. In a rapidly evolving world, access to technology is a key enabler of confidence, creativity, and future readiness.

In Varna, we continued this focus by donating computers to High School “Dimcho Debelyanov”, supporting their “Digital World” competition. Beyond the equipment itself, several Pontica team members joined the initiative as mentors, working directly with students, offering guidance, and helping them turn ideas into structured business concepts. This hands-on involvement reinforced our belief that mentorship can be just as impactful as material support.

Additional donations of computers and equipment reached students in IV High School in Varna, as well as “Chudomir” and “Nikola Vaptzarov” high schools in Kazanlak, helping create better learning environments and opening new digital opportunities for young people across different regions of the country.

Encouraging Active Lifestyles and Team Spirit

Alongside education, we also invested in initiatives that promote physical activity, teamwork, and community engagement. Through funds raised during our charity volleyball tournament, we donated sports equipment to 5 schools in Burgas (Peyo Yavorov, Hristo Botev, Vasil Aprilov, Hristo Botev in village Marinka) and to the First Language School in Varna, supporting active lifestyles and the development of teamwork and resilience among students.

Supporting Social Development and Kindness

Our support extended beyond schools as well. We donated funds to Blagotvoritel, contributing to their national competition “Млад благотворител” and their program for professional and social adaptation – initiatives that encourage young people to develop empathy, leadership, and a sense of social responsibility.

During the holiday season, our colleagues also came together for a Secret Santa initiative, donating clothes, shoes, art supplies, books and more to children in need through the organization “Запази доброто”. This initiative reflected the collective spirit of our team and our shared belief that small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference.

A Collective Effort With Lasting Impact

Whether through donations, volunteering, or mentorship, each contribution helped strengthen our connection to the communities we serve.
